During the years Khagenhat Welfare Organisation has undertaken a numbers of interrelated activities in the operational areas of Khagenhat welfare Organisation. The current Projects are includes as these following-

Big Lottery Project on Deaf Children Primary Education:

Deaf Child World Wide sanctioned a Project to Improve Primary Education for the Deaf Children through Big Lottery of National Fund in Jalpaiguri Sadar and Dhupguri block of Jalpaguri District and Falakata block of Alipurduar District. The Project seeks, Deaf children who living in rural or urban poverty have greater chances of achieving meaningful primary education due to their families being equipped to help them develop communication, literacy and numeracy skills, better quality primary education as a result of professionals increased knowledge, skills and resources on how to educate deaf children, have improved communication skills so are better able to fully participate in the classroom and school life leading to improved social skills. Ultimately the aim of the project is to improve the quality of primary education for deaf children in rural blocks Jalpaiguri districts in the state of West Bengal. Deaf children, their parents, community people , peers, teachers, trainers and Governmental officials has been helped to improve the quality of primary education for deaf.
